Intro of finding the Khaburis Codex (in a monastery in Turkey on Khabur River) by Dan MacDougald and Norman Yonan. Days later the Turkish authorities seized the other documents in the library of the monastery and we heard the monks were killed and the monastery destroyed so we are blessed to have this full new testament. It is Syriac Aramaic written on sheepskin.

Original manuscript was about 65AD, this manuscript is all in Aramaic and a copy with an imprimatur (like a notary seal). Aramaic was the language of the people and Hebrew was the language of the temple. Y’Shua was taking the message to the average person – how to maintain your human life, upon this hangs the Law and Prophets.
